BLISS is a collection for our favourite bliss ball recipes. I've included a few little tips and tricks to get them perfect every time. It will be published in a softcover, mini-book format and will be available to order on my Facebook page.
Call them protein bites, energy bites or bliss balls.... they are delicious and a healthy snack. And they are bliss to eat.
I've decided to share a little preview with you ahead of the launch.
Berrylicious bliss balls are a favourite of mine because they are sweet with a hint of tartness and they have a gorgeous pinky red shade. I like mine with more raspberry (and sometimes only raspberry). That's they beauty of them, you can use whatever berries you have on hand. If you, like me, you love the tartness of berries I recommend adding a few frozen cranberries. They are deliciously sour and add to that beautiful red hue.
1 cup mixed berries
1/3 cup raw cashews
2 Tbs maple syrup
3/4 cup oats
1/4 cup coconut flour
1 Tbs coconut oil
Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blitz until all the ingredients are well mixed and the mixture resembles cookie dough.
Roll into balls of approximately 1 teaspoon.
Refrigerate for half an hour to let them set.
